In March we celebrate Women’s History Month and the significant contribution of women to historic and cultural events. Last March in Today in the Word, we honored the role of women in biblical history by studying women from the Pentateuch: Eve, Sarah, Rebekah, Rachel, and others. This month we continue that theme. In these stories we see courageous obedience, bold leadership, God-given wisdom, and sacrificial love. We also see grief and bitterness, deceit and fear, jealousy, lust, and pain. Ultimately, we see the hand of God in people’s lives. Through this study, we will:

Kelli Worrall is a Professor of Communications and the Chair of the Division of Music and Media Arts at Moody Bible Institute. She is the author of several books, including Pierced and Embraced: 7 Life-Changing Encounters with the Love of Christ.
