It is easy to let our circumstances shape our mood. If things are going well, we are happy. But when we experience trouble, we are miserable. Paul’s letter to the Philippians reminds us that, for the Christian, joy is not tied to circumstances. Paul wrote this letter while a prisoner! Yet joy is one of his underlying themes. During this month’s study, we hope you will:

- Be challenged to count everything as a loss when compared to the great ambition of knowing Christ
